Yamaha R15 Streaking Cyan & GP Blue Edition Launched for INR 1.17 lakh

Yamaha India brings holi present for its buyers in the form of  two new shades in the most selling and company's flagship motorcycle, R15 Version 2.0. As Holi is the festival of colors, company also launched Streaking Cyan and GP Blue color in Yamaha R15. This is the company's attempt to grab more customers and to freshen up the appeal of the bike. Yamaha always stay a step ahead from its rival in introducing bikes and new features in their existing motorcycles. This can be also considered as the company's strategy to make its label best.

In addition to two new shades, R15 is available in Raring Red, Grid Gold, Racing Blue and Invincible Black color. There are no other changes in the bike, it is equipped with the same 149.8cc liquid cooling, single cylinder engine which produces a maximum power of 17PS at 8500rpm and maximum  torque of 15Nm at 7500rpm. it is mated to 6-speed return type, chain drive transmission.

On the launch event, Vice president - sales & marketing of Yamaha Motor India stated that "Yamaha R15 is a pure sports vehicle designed especially for racing enthusiasts so that they can experience the power and passion that a sports bike has to offer. The racing DNA, sporty look and superior technology have been synonymous with the R15. While, the core concept of R15 remains the same, with these new colours we strive to continuously interact and excite our target audiences. As we launch the R15 Ver 2.0 in 2 new avatars, we are again very confident that this new introduction will help to keep our target audiences absolutely delighted,"

Both the version of R15 version 2.0 are priced at INR 1.17 lakh. Apart from this offering, company is also planning to launch three new motorcycles in the Indian market - 2015 YZF-R15 3.0, YZF-R25 and YZF-R1. But, Yamaha has not announced these bikes officialy.
