Yamaha Fascino Scooter Launched in India at INR 52,500

Yamaha has launched a new 113cc scooter for the Indian market dubbed as 'Yamaha Fascino'. It has been offered at a price tag of INR 52,500. This is the company's fourth offering in the scooters line up. The other three siblings of the Fascino are Yamaha Alpha, Yamaha Ray Z and Yamaha Ray. It seems that company has put all the perfection in this scooter so that it can beat its rival in the market. The scooter's exciting name also shows company's efforts to make it best class scooter, as Fascino itself means fascinating in Italian.

Mechanically, the Fascino comes equipped with a 113cc air-cooled, 2-valve engine that generates a 7 Bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 8.1 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. It is mated to a V-Belt automatic transmission. It supports a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres. The company claimed mileage of the scooter is 66 kmpl and you can expect It to return city mileage of 45 kmpl and highway mileage of 60 kmpl which make its most fuel efficient scooter in its class. It rides on 90/100-10 tyres at both end with the stopping power provided by a drum brakes.

Measurement wise, it is 1815mm long, 1120mm tall and 675mm wide. While it weighs at only 103 kgs. It has a ground clearance of 128mm and wheelbase of 1270mm. With the seat height of 775mm only, this scooter will definitely grab the 50 % of two-wheeler customers. As the comfortable ride and light weight vehicle with sufficient stoarge space is what customers prefer and Fascino fulfill all these features in one.

The Yamaha Fascino comes in total five color options including Haute White, Cool Cobalt, Rouge Red, Saddy Cyan and Tuxedo Black. On the launch event Managing Director of Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt.Ltd stated that

"We as a youthful brand wanted to present them (Youth) with a product that could fascinate them and Fascino, we believe, will certainly be able to do the job well."
