Suzuki GSX-S1000 & GSX-S1000F Officially Launched in India

Suzuki India has officially launched two new motorcycles in the market dubbed as GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F. The naked roadster Suzuki GSX-S1000 has been offered at a price tag of INR 12.25 Lakh and fully-faired variant GSX-S1000F priced little high at INR 12.70 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi price). Both the bikes hold same specification with the diffrence lies in only outer appearance. It seems that company wants to rule the market of high-end superbikes. And this is also a fact that youngsters got attracted towards latest bikes because they know new bikes always comes with new innovation.

Mechanically, both the siblings comes equipped with 999cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooling DOHC engine which is same unit that does its duty in Suzuki GSX-R1000. It generates a maximum power of 144Bhp @ 10000 rpm and maximum torque of 105.75Nm at 9500 rpm. It is set to reach the top speed of 240 km/hr. Other features introduced by the company in this latest motorcycle are traction control system, inverted KYB forks, lightweight & rigid chassis, Brembo brakes and wide instrument cluster display.

Executive Vice President of Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Ltd, Mr. Atul Gupta stated on the event that, "The GSX-S1000 is a naked roadster with an aggressive look, while the Suzuki GSX-S1000F is its fully faired sibling. Their supersport genes deliver smooth, controlled handling and dynamic acceleration,".

In the terms of shade, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F comes in two exciting options - Dual tone and single tone. The Dual tone option includes Candy daring Red with sparkle black color and single tone model will come in metallic triton Blue color. These motorcycles look classy in both the tones.
