M2M’s Innovative Two Wheeler Ambulance Service Revealed in Bangalore

A Bangalore based company M2M has revealed an innovative ambulance service called Two Wheeler Ambulance (TWA). TWA  helps in drastically reducing the time taken by trained medical staff to reach accident spot and provide first aid to trauma victims. TWA aims at significantly improving response time and make best use of “golden hour”.

Two Wheeler Ambulance consists of 2 important entities - Bike and the Mobile. The Bike used currently is a KTM Duke 390 which has a 390cc engine with a good power to weight ratio, churns out the best power on the street. The Bike has undergone modifications like relocating the rider’s footpegs in the front, a dedicated holder has been fabricated to hold the oxygen cylinder and fire extinguisher, custom made stretchers to seat the victim and boxes alongside to carry the medical equipments.  

Talking about the Two Wheeler Ambulance mobile application, It is designed keeping the “Ease of Use” as primary motto. The user interface of the application is extremely minimal so that any passerby with least technology knowledge can use the app swiftly to address the “golden hour” requirement.

The Application comes with Three modes:

Auto mode: Upon an intense impact like an accident within 25 seconds an alarming message with the location information is sent to the central server which is received by medically trained rider. With this, Two wheeler ambulance can get into action  by reaching the accident spot on time.

Help me mode: Upon clicking, sends a message with location details to the nearest available ambulance services also alerts the 5 family and friends members whose numbers are pre-recorded.

Report mode:  The event of accident can be reported by anyone in the accident spot by using this mode. General tendency of people is to escape from tragic incidents like accidents fearing to be eyewitnesses for the consequent medical and legal case. This option acts as a boon, as anyone can report about the accident anonymously.
