Mahindra Gusto HX Launched for INR 46,800

Mahindra has launched a new variant of its on-selling 110cc Scooter Gusto, dubbed as 'HX'. The Company has offered this trim for INR 46,800. Earlier, Mahindra launched only two variants in Gusto in September, 2014. HX is the mid-level version of Gusto, while base model is selling by the name of Gusto DX and it also has top-on-the line trim, VX. So, we can say, it will stand between the DX and VX model.

Putting light on its features, Mahindra Gusto HX comes with height adjustable seat which riders can set according to their comfort from 735mm to 770mm. There are no aesthetic changes in this scooter but yes like its sibling DX, this trim too missed a feature of Find me Lamp and flip key. Other features like tubeless tyres, LED pilot lamps, telescopic suspension and kick lever are also kitted in this scooter.

Mechanically, it is equipped with the same 110cc air-cooled, 4-stroke 1-cylinder engine which produces maximum power of 8Bhp at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9Nm at 5500 rpm. It packs a fuel tank capacity of 6-litres and it can reach to a top speed of 85kmph. It gives a city mileage of 50kmpl and highway mileage of 63 kmpl. Its a perfect option for the skinny rider because it weighs only 120 kg. Other dimensions of this scooter includes 1825mm height, 697mm width and 1188mm height.

The other major difference company offered with this scooter is new color schemes. But company hasn't disclose any details about two new shades. As per company's offcial page, four shades like Black, White, Red and Majenta are also available in this scooter.
