The Austrian bike makers, KTM has established its brand in the Indian market through its power machines like KTM Duke and RC sports bike. But, here's one bad news for the KTM bike lovers. The company has increased the prices of four sports bike due to the rise in excise duty. Now the increased prices are around 3-5 percent more than the previous price. It will definitely change the low-cost bikes image of the KTM.

Actually, the central government had approved concession in excise duty in year 2014 to boost the sales in automotive sector, which was valid till December, 2014 only. The four bikes which receives hike in price are the KTM 200 Duke, RC 200, Duke 390 and RC 390. All these bikes was overwhelmed by the customers and contributing a lot in rising market shares. Apart from the price, Company has also introduced a new slipper clutch system which they will implement in their bikes in the near future. It will improve your riding experience by providing smooth clutch function. This technology will help bike to return more efficient performance, so that customers pay increased penny without any doubt in their mind.

Lets put some light on the increased price chart now, the Duke 200 is available at 7190 more than its actual price which is Rs. 1,37,977. Duke 390 costs you 8,987 more which is Rs. 1,89,942. The RC 200 gets a price hike of Rs. 6000 which is Rs. 1,66,249 and last but not the least, RC 390 is Rs.8000 more which is Rs. 2,12,861. All these prices are the ex-showroom Delhi price.

We hope, the charm of these bikes stay bright as it was, increased price doesn't effect its sale.
