Kawasaki Versys 1000 Launched For Rs. 12.90 Lakhs

Japanese bike maker, Kawasaki once again ready to explore its market share by the launch of '2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000'. Booking of this sportsbike has already begun with a booking amount of Rs. 5-6 lakhs at its own dealership of Pune. But, delivery of this bikes is expected to start from first month of 2015. Versys 1000 was first unveiled at the motorcycle event called 'INTERMOT 2014' in September and has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 12.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).

Talking about its exterior, it comes with a revamped front fascia with dual headlamps along with wind protection and improved aerodynamics. New alloy wheels of 17-inches is also adding more charm to the beauty of this sportsbike. The suspension system on the other hand has also been revised to ensure comfortable ride. While the chassis of this new bike also accommodate you more luggage carrying capacity, so that you enjoy more comfort while traveling on long distance.

Mechanically, it comes equipped with a 1043cc inline 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates a peak power of 118.3Bhp and torque of 102Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with an assist & slipper clutch. The company has also loaded some extra features in a bike like Anti-Lock braking system, clean mount one key pannier system and traction control.  Putting some light on its dimensions, it comes with a length of 2240mm, width of 1026mm, height of 1399.5mm and it weights at 249 kg. It also come fitted with 20.8litres fuel tank with.

At the front, it comes with stylish instrument console which provides digital speedometer, odometer, temperature & fuel gunge and analog tachometer. It comes in a choice of two exciting color combinations including Candy Burnt Orange/ Metallic Spark and Black Flat Ebony/ Metallic Spark Black.
