Kawasaki has unleashed the much-awaited superbikes, 'Kawasaki Z1000' and 'Ninja 1000' in India. Both the bikes are priced at Rs 12,50,000 lakh (Ex-showroom, Pune). Both the bikes are powered by 1043cc engine, which generates maximum power of 140 Bhp at 10000 rpm with maximum torque of 111 Nm at 7300 rpm. Ninja 1000 may cover a distance of 15 Kms in 1 litre of petrol. Whereas the fuel efficiency of Z1000 is 13 to 15 Km/litre which depends on Indian roads. The braking system in Z1000 involves dual petal disc brakes of 300mm at its front and a single rear disc brake of 250mm with single piston calliper. The braking system of Ninja 1000 is similar to Z1000. Both these bikes are now ready for sale in India. Bookings are already open for these two beauties.
