Honda Livo 110 Officially Launched for Rs. 52,989

Honda has finally launched it most-anticipated motorcycle, 'Livo' in India today. It has been offered at a price tag of INR 52,989 (ex-showroom, Delhi). According to the sources, it comes with a design which is rarely seen in Indian market before. The bike is also seen as the replacement of unsuccessful motorcycle of the company called 'CB Twister'. It will sit above the Dream series of Honda. Interestingly, it is also loaded with Honda Eco Tech (HET) to improve the mileage of bike.

Mechanically, there is 109.19cc single-cylinder, 2-valve, 4-stroke engine which is rated to deliver 8.25 Bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 8.63Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It is paired to 4-speed transmission. Measurement wise, it has an overall length of 2020mm, width of 746mm, height of 1099mm and it holds a kerb weight of 111kg. While the ground clearance and wheelbase is 180mm and 1285mm respectively.

Talking about the features, Honda Livo 110 comes crafted with steel tabular diamond chassis, single angular head-lamp, analogue instrument cluster (with odometer, fuel gauge and speedometer), chrome heat shield, small exhaust muffler, red suspension springs, alloy wheels and brake light. All in all, the bike also holds a sporty approach and it is expected to give stiff competition to the motorcycles like Hero Splendor iSmart, TVS Sport ES Alloy and Suzuki Hayate ES. On the launch event, Senior Vice President, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India PVT LTD., Mr Y.S. Guleria, said,

"LIVO is developed keeping in mind the very start of motorcycling- that is the 100-110cc displacement segment which is most often the first bike of majority in India. Honda LIVO is a perfect fit to fulfil the dreams of aspirational first time biker." 

In the terms of shades, it is available in four exciting options like Pearl Amazing White, Black, Athletic Blue Metallic and Sunset Brown Metallic. There are two variants on offer in Livo - Disc brake and Self-start, alloy wheels and drum brake. The disc brake variant is priced at INR 55,489. While, the higher model is available at INR 55,989 (ex-showroom, Delhi price).
