Honda Dream Neo Launched in Mumbai
The most affordable two wheeler from Honda, the Honda Dream Neo, has been launched in Mumbai with a price range starting from Rs. 46,140 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The new Dream Neo which made its debut earlier this year, 2013, will slot below the Dream Yuga rider bike. The entry level price of Neo is almost Rs. 3,000 cheaper than that of Dream Yuga. While the Dream Yuga plays at the premium end of the passenger segment, the Neo will have price sensitive end covered. At the first glance, its easy to mistake the Dream Neo as Dream Yuga or even as a CB Shine.
The 3 motorcycles looks almost similar with only the body designs being the immediately distinguishable feature. The similar designs will definitely go a long way in reducing its production cost and will also improve the flexibility of assembly lines.
The new Dream Neo gets its power from a 4-stroke 109cc air-cooled engine which develops a best-in-class torque of 8.63 Nm at 5,500 rpm and 8.25 bhp at 7,500 rpm. The 4-speed gearbox adopts 'all up' shift pattern. The Honda has incorporated the (HET) Honda Eco Technology which results in a claimed fuel economy of 74kpl.
The motorcycle offers 6 dual tone color themes – Black with Violet stripes, Black with Red stripes, Force Silver Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Monsoon Grey Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic. The Honda Dream Neo is available in 3 variants.
