Bajaj Launches Pulsar AS150 at INR 79,000

Bajaj Auto Limited has launched a new variant of most popular Pulsar motorcycle named as 'Pulsar AS150'. The AS here stands for Adventure sport, it is a new range of motorcycles launched by Bajaj in India. With high torque and power values, the Pulsar 150AS is seen as the most powerful bike in its class. It has been launched with a price tag of INR 79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes in single variant only and it mainly targets the youth of country. It gets an extended visor for the comfortable ride and half fairing. It doesn't get any graphics on the body.

Mechanically, Bajaj Pulsar AS150 comes equipped with an air-cooled 149.5cc, 4-valve, twin-spark, DTS-i engine which generates a maximum power of 16.8 Bhp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 13 Nm at 7500 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It rides on a 80/100-R17 front and 100/90-R17 rear tyre with a stopping power provided by a singled disc brakes at front and drum brake at the rear end. Suspension duties of the bike are handled by a telescopic forks and mono shock absorber at front and rear respectively.

Measurement wise, it has a ground clearance of 170mm along with a length, width and height as a 2070mm, 804mm and 1205mm respectively. It holds a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and it wheelbase has a measure of 1363mm along with a kerb weight of 143 kg. The instrument console of the bike packs a digital speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge and analog tachometer.

the terms of shades, Pulsar 150 AS comes in a Blue, Black and Red option. But, it looks more exciting in Blue and Red shade as compared to Black. It is expected to lock its horns with Hero Impulse, though company hasn't mentioned any rival of this motorcycle yet. Let's see, it will follow the heredity of Pulsar or not.
