3500 Units of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Booked in 30 days

Popularity of Pulsar RS200 before its launch is not unknown to anyone. Now, the Bajaj officials has revealed that, they have received around 3500 bookings of this premium bike in just 30 days. The sale of this bike was started on March 26, 2015. The booking count is really remarkable and the company has also expressed that booking units are beyond their expectations. Prior to launch, only 1000 units of RS 200 was booked which increased surprisingly by the end of April to 3500 units. As of now, the Pulsar RS 200 is available in only 17 cities and company is planning to launch it in other parts too which means in coming future, the ratio of booking will definitely increase.

Notably, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was launched in March in two version - ABS and without ABS. It is known as the Fastest Pulsar yet. It is equipped with a 199.5cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple-spark, single cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 24.5 PS at 9750 RPM and maximum torque of 18.6 Nm at 8000 RPM. It is mated to 6-speed transmission and it also supports Fuel injection system. Declared as a fastest machine by company, it reach to a top speed of 140.8 kmph. It also gets a ABS braking system which is never seen in the Bajaj's bike yet. The suspension duties of the bike are handled by a telescopic front forks and nitrox monoshock rear absorbers.

Appearance wise, its a fully-faired stylish motorcycle with dual projector head lights, front fairing, split seat, plastic spatter guard, clip-on handlebar and crystal LED tail lights. In the terms of price, The ABS version of Pulsar RS200 is priced at INR 1.3 lakh and non-ABS variant is priced at INR 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In addition to this, Bajaj has also introduced two new motorcycle in Pune dubeed as Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 and AS 200. Here AS stand for Adventure sport. So, Pulsar lovers have many options this year.
