Mahindra Diablo
General information and overview
The Mahindra Diablo is a motorcycle that emphasizes balance and practicality. It features a kick and self-start engine, a 5-gear transmission, and a front disc brake, which are all positives for its usability. The bikes sound and tire quality are also commendable, with the tires providing good grip and stability. The Diablos design, while not as sleek as some modern motorcycles, is functional and comfortable for long rides. The ergonomics, with foot pegs directly below the rider and a raised handlebar, are designed for comfort, although taller riders might find it a bit cramped. Overall, the Diablo is a reliable and fuel-efficient option that is well-suited for Indian road conditions, making it a sensible choice for those seeking a no-frills, practical motorcycle.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Mahindra Diablo, while not widely discussed in recent reviews, presents a unique blend of power and practicality. From my perspective, the Diablo stands out for its balanced approach to engine power and mileage. The bikes engine, though not overly powerful in terms of bhp, is designed to provide optimum power for cruising effortlessly on Indian road conditions, which is a significant advantage. The front disc brake and 5-gear transmission add to its usability. However, the lack of detailed recent reviews suggests that the Diablo may not be as popular or updated as other models in the market. Overall, its a sensible choice for those seeking a reliable and fuel-efficient ride, but it may not appeal to those looking for high-performance or the latest features.

Pricing details and changes
The pricing information for the Mahindra Diablo in India is not readily available, as it appears the model may not be actively marketed or sold currently. Typically, prices for motorcycles in India can vary significantly based on the state, city, and local taxes. For a more accurate estimate, one would need to check with local dealerships or Mahindras official website. However, given the Diablos specifications and features, if it were to be priced, it would likely fall in the mid-range segment, competing with other 150-200cc motorcycles. As an automotive reviewer, I would advise potential buyers to compare prices of similar models and consider factors like maintenance costs and resale value.
Fuel efficiency information
The Mahindra Diablo is noted for its good mileage, which is a crucial factor for many Indian buyers. The bikes engine is tuned to provide less wear and tear while delivering optimum power, which translates to better fuel efficiency. This makes it a practical choice for daily commuting and long rides on Indian roads. With the ability to cruise comfortably between 100-120 kmph, the Diablo offers a balance of performance and economy, making it a good option for those concerned about running costs.

I am not sure this is the original look of the bike becaue i saw the same byk in the official website of Magelli motocycle company....
There is a British Compnay called Megelli. They are also manufacturing the same design & SYM is building it for them. There variation is 150cc & 250cc though. Its available in our country, Bangladesh. Costs 1.7K BDT. It has looks only & nothing else. Hopefully Mahindra will make a difference. Take care guys.
Hmm... nice but power seems to be less... WRT 300cc engine..
Oh! shut up everyone......who have posted against 'DIABLO', it's d best bike so far!Can beat any indian bike; including 'NINJA' awaiting desperately for it's launch......."AWESOME!"
This bikes is so good.
Much better than other companies bikes, Good design and not much expensive Diablo is good designed bike. Good looking.
I dont think that this is the actual picture of Diablo, as it does not have inverted front forks and does not have a radiator too.
Why aren't Indian manufacturers understanding the need of customers. We need a fully faired 250cc producing around 30 hp at a competitive price.
I think this bike would storm into the Indian market and uproot its competition. Low bhp for such powerful engine means less wear and tear and good mileage with optimum power to cruise effortlessly on Indian road conditions. A very sensible bike for India by an Indian, as is expected by MAHINDRA. My sincere best wishes with a hope that i could afford this DIABLO soon.
Ninja is not manufactured in India, it imported into India as CKDs and just assembled here. So, you pay extra import taxes on the ninja, thus the high price. On the other hand, Mahindra is going to manufacture its Diablo bike in India, thus it can price the bike so competitively. The market between karizma ZMR and ninja is vacant. This bike would definitely kill the ninja market. Such a bike was definitely needed in the market for powerful city riding on bad roads and weekend riding on country roads.
