Hero Honda India has launched New Splendor NXG and the slogan for new bike is "Yaari Ki Gaadi". The facelift of the bike is again Hero Honda style with new graphics and stickers. The basic shape and features of the bike are same like the old Splendor NXG. Splendor is a bike designed to give fuel economy, reliability as well as low cost for maintenance. Well, the Splendor NXG is expected to be a step ahead to carry over the strengths of country's largest selling bike.
Hero Honda is now Hero MotoCorp and the company revealed its new identity at a mega event in London, UK.

Design & Styling of New Hero Honda Splendor NXG
In terms of looks New Hero Honda Splendor NXG is same like the 2009 model of Splendor NXG featuring a big stylish trapezoidal multireflector type headlight which gives bright light at low speeds as well, because of powerful battery and this gives the direct current high beam that is not dependant on the rpm of the engine. The tail lamp is big and improved by looks as compared to regular splendors. New Hero Honda Splendor NXG features a sleek instrument panel with a trip meter and new graphics for the fuel tank that has a knee grip mold. New and improved front visor further enhances the stylish looks of New Hero Honda Splendor NXG.
Ride Quality and Intrument Cluster of New Hero Honda Splendor NXG
The riding position on the New Splendor NXG is quite commuter friendly and comfortable with an unright stance. The seat is quite comfortable too. The ground clearance of the bike is about 1 mm more than Hero Honda Splendor plus that is a ground clearance of 160 mm. The wheelbase is 1230 mm and the bike doesn’t make irritating noise even in low speed, in fourth gear. The instrument cluster of New Hero Honda Splendor NXG features a big speedometer which is flanked by a fuel gauge on the right side and other light indicators for other tell tales on the left side. For the convenience of the biker, there are few features included here are trip meter, peep hole, large utility box etc.

New Hero Honda Splendor NXG is powered by a single cylinder 4 stroke engine which generates maximum power of 7.8 bhp at 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 8.04 nm at 4500 rpm. The bike features 130mm drum brake at front and 110mm rear drum brakes. The torque is also copious and fairly consistent at the bottom half of the rev range, so riders will not have to worry about startling jumps in performance especially when moving out of stationary position. The gearbox is the same but was always great to begin with which may be the reason why Hero Honda chose to leave it the way it was.
