Piaggio will be launching the Vespa 946 in the fourth quarter of this year. It stands for the year 1946 when the company began making scooters. Piaggio Vespa 946 will be available in two engine options, one comes fitted with a 125 cc engine which delivers 11.7 bhp of max power and around 10.3 Nm of beating torque. Another variant carries a 150 cc engine which churns out a peak power of 13 bhp and a best in class torque of 12.6 Nm. When it comes to the looks, it appears to be much attractive with its eye catchy floating seat.

The instrument console is a small one and both the engines trims are fuel efficient and offer a commendable performance on the road. The scooter also includes some advanced aspects such as ABS, TCS etc. which increases the confidence and safety of the rider. It is expected to cost you above Rs.2 Lakh, which is too much. You can even buy a motorcycle for that much amount, if you're a performance craved. The side profile appears aggressive and from the back, it looks like a bike. Overall, the deign is mouthwatering,  but the price is not.
