It carries the same 250cc, twin cylinder engine from once on sale Ninja 250, producing 31.5 BHP at 11,000 rpm and 21 Nm at 10,000 rpm. It is very confusing for Kawasaki fans and even many people always think that why are they not bringing the Z300 in place of Z250 in the country. This can even help in more localization of the engine on the Ninja 300. The bike actually weighs 168 kg and claims a top speed of 165 kmph. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 153 kmph. The bike is still not on sale in India and would be the best option for Kawasaki if they plan to bring a localized product.
