| Suzuki GSX-R600 is a middleweight racer that is currently no available on sale in India. The 599cc GSX machine is good for 124 BHP at 13500 rpm and 69.6 Nm at 11500 rpm. It weighs just 187 kg and performs very aggressively on the track. The bike uses Brembo disc brakes and USD front forks for better damping. It rivals the Honda CBR600RR, Kawasaki ZX-6R and Yamaha YZF-R6 in its segment. All four Japanese manufacturers are very focused on performance and brings at-least one product in the quarter litre, 600cc and liter class segment. | Suzuki GSX-R125 is the youngest R series bike from the manufacturer. It will be sold independently in Europe and those markets where licensing restriction force the manufacturers to either stay under 125cc or go for an even effective 250 or 300cc model. It is powered by a 125cc engine and the values are still not official from Suzuki. GSX-R125 carries a fuel injected and liquid cooled engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox for effective gearshifts. The weight of the bike is still unavailable while it can be safely assumed that adding ABS and using 125cc engine in place of 150cc from GSX-R150 will place it around 131 kg only. It rivals KTM RC125, Honda CBR125R, Yamaha R125 and Aprilia RS 125. As of now, Suzuki has no plans to launch the GSX-R125 in India. | Suzuki GSX-R150 was recently unveiled in Indonesia and it marks the comeback of a valuable brand in the most selling segment of bikes around the Asian countries. It uses a fuel injected, water cooled motor and weighs just 126 kg, without fluids. The aerodynamic design is shared with the GSX-R125 and seems fully inspired from the liter class GSX-R1000. GSX-R150 may take some time for its Indian market entry while offers 5 mouth watering shades in Indonesian market. GSX-R150 generates maximum power of 18.90 Bhp @ 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 NM @ 9000 rpm. The sport bike uses LED headlight, key-less ignition system and digital instrument console as its key features. If launched in India, GSX-R150 would be competing with the likes of Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR150R. | |
