TVS Apache 150 was the first model within the famous Apache series from the bike maker. The motorcycle was good for 13.7 BHP at 8500 rpm and 12.3 Nm at 6000 rpm. The gearbox used on the motorcycle is a 5-speed unit. It weighs 136 kg and claims a top speed of 112 kmph. TVS Apache 150 rivaled Bajaj Pulsar 150 at its time of availability. The others included the Yamaha FZ series and Hero's 150cc motorcycles like Hunk and CBZ. It carried a 16 liter fuel tank, making it easy for the rider to cover long stretches in a single refill.
