Best 135cc Bike In India
Saturday, February 14, 2009Bajaj displayed XCD Sprint concept at the Auto Expo 2008 in New Delhi. Finally, it has been launched with a 135cc engine. But Bajaj India has changed the name - it is now XCD 135. May be Bajaj has kept "Sprint" Suffix for the upcoming Discover 150. New XCD 135 looks quite eye-catching, especially as an upgrade from the 100-110cc bikes we're used to.
But as far as design is concerned it looks more or less same like the XCD 125. The Concept bike shown at Auto Expo was a superb design having chrome finished tail lamp with LEDs inside. Also the headlamp was more aggresive looking. XCD 135's headlamp looks like a carryover from Discover 135. It has familiar styling & design of the present line up of Bajaj Bikes. The Headlamp, Side-Panels, Tail Lamps reminds you of the bigger Pulsars and the Discover.
Though the build quality looks very good and feels like a well put together motorcycle. It also boasts of a self starter which is a delightful feature to have. The switches are among the best in its segment and are pretty comprehensive. It is aimed at the customers in the value segment looking for a sporty alternative.
